I’m doing massage and some acupuncture at Dr. Lu’s Acupuncture and Massage Clinic these days as well.  That’s generally only one day per week (Tuesday mornings).  Dr. Lu was my massage teacher at OCOM, and he’s great!  I’m learning a lot from him.

Last year I completed my training in Nanjing, China after graduating from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in Portland (link on the left).  I had a lot of fun at the hospitals and clinics in both places, and I look forward to using the knowledge I acquired on YOU!  The program at OCOM was three years long, including a one year internship.  I also trained for a  month in two different Nanjing hospitals, where I got still more hands-on experience treating patients with acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine.  I have administered at least 1000 treatments now, and I love it!  I love helping the body to heal itself with acupuncture and Chinese herbs.  I also practice Tui Na massage (the chiropractic of Oriental medicine), foot reflexology, and cupping, and I’m a big proponent of the saying “you are what you eat”.  Check out the link “What I do to Treat You” for more information about my treatment modalities and styles.

Take care!
