I believe the body has an amazing ability to heal itself; I’m passionate about helping others to not only overcome illness and disease, but to prevent it.

I want to enter into a healing relationship with patients; the best healing is that which the patient is involved in, thus empowering patients with knowledge–a healing partnership that is trusting, private, respectful, and personalized, allowing people to take control of their own health and thus be able to live life to its fullest.

I Love the outdoors, and the way nature is just a larger picture of the way our bodies function. My collegiate activity in Cross Country and Track & Field drew me closer to finding Traditional Chinese Medicine as my career path. I quickly noticed not only my own frustration, but also that of all my fellow athletes, with the fact that “ice and rest” is often the only treatment strategy available. When I discovered how TCM offered an alternative which was unknown to me until then–a medicinal practice that understands and treats the root causes of symptoms. I knew I had to learn more.

I graduated from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine. I am certified as a Diplomat in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
